Upcoming Events

Worship, Sundays at 10:00 am, Sunday School before worship at 9:00 am

Our worship time will move to 10:00 am on Sunday, September 4th. Sunday school will begin the following week at 9:00 am.

“New Year, New You”: this is the message we get from pop culture, year after year. We vow to make changes to our diet, exercise habits, or lifestyle, but in spite of those resolutions, most things stay the same. This may be cause for disappointment, but there is some consistency we can celebrate. God’s promises to us do not change with the calendar or the latest fitness trend. Rather than focusing our energy and attention on making (and in all likelihood breaking) promises to ourselves, let’s spend the first part of the new year appreciating God’s promises to us.

Women’s Book Club begins January 8 at 9 am in the David Bacon room. We are reading the book, An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor.  We will read a chapter a week and finish by March 19.  Women of all ages are welcome.  If you need Wendy to order you a book, please let her know as soon as possible. They are $10 on Amazon. In this book, Taylor reveals meaningful ways to discover the sacred in the small things we do and see, from simple practices such as walking, working and prayer. Through Taylor’s expert guidance and delicate, thought-provoking prose, we learn to live with purpose, pay attention, slow down and practice reverence.

Drop children off at church to play with our youth group volunteers while you go out to dinner with other parents.  Feed your children dinner before you come.  The youth group will have snacks as well as age- appropriate games and crafts for different age groups.  Register your children for this event please HERE.
