This fall, we will study the 11 resolutions made during the 35th General Synod of the United Church of Christ. We will meet on Wednesdays, at noon, beginning September 10th. Bring a lunch and bring a friend.
The 35th General Synod of the United Church of Christ was held this past July in Kansas City, MO. The delegates to the synod considered 11 resolutions, a By-Laws change, and some Constitutional amendments. What were these resolutions, and what will their impact be on the church, what do they mean to FCC, are all questions we will grapple with in the Fall 2025 Book Study. The study will begin on Wednesday, September 10 at noon in the David Bacon Room. These ten sessions will end on November 26. The resolutions for the first class will be available on Sunday mornings beginning August 24. Subsequent resolutions will be passed out at the end of each weekly class in preparation for the next class. Bring a lunch and bring a friend!
