Join FCC and Be Part of Something Bigger!

FCC is proud to be a faith partner of First Serve, a ministry dedicated to making a difference in the North Hill community of Akron. Each year, FCC joins hundreds of volunteers for the annual First Serve Day of Service—a powerful opportunity to give back and show love in action. This year’s day of service will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

First Serve fosters meaningful relationships across diverse cultural, ethnic, faith, and economic communities, creating connections that inspire collaboration and mutual understanding.

With over 50 volunteer projects available, there’s a place for everyone to serve!

Day of Service Details

🕒 8:30-9am | Interfaith Send Off Service

📍 915 N. Main St. Akron, OH

🕒 9:30am-3pm | Volunteer at Projects Sites (half or full day projects)

🍽️ Lunch Provided
