IMAGINE TOGETHER STEWARDSHIP SERIES

This Sunday, November 17th, is Consecration Sunday. Please bring your pledge cards to present before the congregation.

The past several years, I have titled the annual Stewardship Campaign as “Our Mission for God 20__”. I truly believe our “work” as a church starts with God’s hopes and dreams for our congregation in the coming year (each year!). We try our best to discern God’s will for our church and then create a budget that becomes our “Ministry Resource Plan.” We think God is calling us to “X” in the coming year and this is the “$” we need to accomplish that mission for God.

This just might be a good place to start as we look toward our 2024 Stewardship Campaign. What are our hopes and dreams for the coming year? How can we be generous in our gifts so that we can “enhance the true wellbeing of the receiver”?

This year, our Stewardship Campaign is built around the theme, “Imagine Together.” How can we imagine together a better world; a world filled with generous people always willing to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a supportive presence in times of challenge? These “gifts” can come in many forms. They can be our time, or skills, and our money. What other forms can our gifts take? What can we learn from the definition above? What do you connect with in his definition?  What might you question?  What might you add?

Plan on engaging this theme this fall at FCC as we gather to Imagine Together a better world!
