Sunday, April 24 will be a celebration of the arts at First Congregational Church! That Sunday we will be blessed by all the musicians of FCC as we celebrate Music Appreciation Sunday during worship. There will also be an art show in the Atrium and Fellowship Hall for all to view after our service. All FCC family members of all ages are encouraged to bring in a piece of original work that they have created. These works can be art pieces (paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc.), craft pieces (paper works, needlework, wood works, etc.) or anything that you want to feature as we celebrate a Fine Arts Weekend! You can bring in something you’ve created in the past or something you create new for this show.
The Elder’s Fellowship will host a meal in the Fellowship Hall in conjunction with the art show. Similar to their Thanksgiving meal, there will be sign-ups for the meal as well as a suggested donation of $5.00 p/person to help defray the cost of the meal.
Please plan to drop your art by April 19 (or before!) Pieces can be brought to the church office during office hours (9am-3pm).
