Wednesday Afternoon Bible Study
The Wednesday afternoon Bible Study (1:00pm) will begin a study of the Gospels. Most mainline biblical scholars believe that Mark is the first Gospel written so we’ll start there. Week one (Sept. 8) will be an overview of the Gospels as a whole and Mark in particular. While you need not read anything in particular, you could do a perusal through Mark. We hope to “see” many of you Wednesdays this Fall!
Wednesday Evening Book Study
Rev. Doty will hold an evening class on Wednesdays at 7PM. This group will study the book, “Jesus Did It Anyway: The Paradoxical Commandments for Christians” by Kent M. Keith. Books are available online and cost around $5.00.
This class will be presented in six sessions on Wednesday nights 9/8, 15, 22, 29; 10/6 & 13 at 7PM in the Heritage room.
